Russia Park Sculpture Project - 50th Anniversary
A public art project in Moscow, Russia, featuring 11 large custom stainless steel sculptures designed for both land and water landscape areas.
Project Introduction
This is a public art project created for the 50th anniversary of a park in Moscow, Russia. The project used 11 large custom stainless steel sculptures to create a unique, modern, and artistic landscape for an open city park. These sculptures were designed to become visual highlights in both the land and water areas of the park.
As a custom sculpture project for an outdoor public space, the client cared not only about the artistic appearance of the works, but also about material quality, structural stability, mirror-polished finish, welding details, and long-term weather resistance. Each sculpture needed to show a clear and changing modern visual effect from different angles, under different light, and within the surrounding natural environment.
During the project, we provided a one-stop sculpture service based on the needs of the public space. Our service included 3D design presentation, material selection, fabrication, quality inspection, packaging, shipping, and installation guidance. Stainless steel was chosen for both its modern artistic look and strong outdoor durability. After forming, welding, grinding, mirror polishing, and surface treatment, the sculptures could naturally interact with the sky, water, grass, and surrounding park environment.
The completed 11 stainless steel sculptures showed excellent visual effects and stable performance in both the land and water areas of the park. They enhanced the artistic atmosphere of the public space and created a more modern and engaging viewing experience for visitors. This project also reflects our ability in modern sculpture selection, custom art creation, and large-scale public art project services.
1. 3D Design Presentation: Confirming the Sculpture Shape and Space Effect in Advance
During the design development stage, we used 3D drawings to show the client the shape, size, proportions, and visual effect of each sculpture from different angles.
This visual presentation helped the client better understand the sculpture form before production. It also helped confirm how the sculptures would fit within the park’s land and water areas and the surrounding landscape.

2. Production Process: Fine Craftsmanship from Material to Mirror Finish
During production, each sculpture went through strict manufacturing steps, including stainless steel material preparation, forming, welding, grinding, and polishing.
We carefully controlled every production step to make sure each sculpture had a stable structure, smooth shape, and high-quality mirror finish. For large outdoor stainless steel sculptures, fine craftsmanship affects not only the appearance but also the long-term performance in public spaces.

3. Client Factory Inspection: Confirming Project Quality on Site
During the production period, the client visited our factory for an on-site inspection. They checked the production progress, structural details, welding quality, grinding effect, and overall quality of the sculptures.
Through face-to-face communication and inspection, the client could better understand the production process. This also provided stronger quality assurance for later delivery and installation.

4. Factory Completion and On-Site Installation Effect
After the sculptures were completed in the factory, they already showed their full shapes and mirror-polished surface effect. After transportation and installation at the Moscow park site, the sculptures began to interact with the surrounding water, grass, sky, and open space.
From individual artworks in the factory to public art pieces in the park, these stainless steel sculptures showed richer visual layers in the real environment. The mirror surface reflects the surrounding landscape, making the sculptures not only individual artworks, but also part of the park’s spatial experience.

5. Custom Packaging: Protecting the Sculpture Surface During Delivery
To protect the high-quality surface of the sculptures during long-distance transportation, we designed custom packaging for each sculpture.
The packaging used anti-scratch and anti-collision materials and reinforced wooden crates. This helped reduce friction, impact, and surface damage during transportation, ensuring that the sculptures arrived safely at the project site.

6. Installation Drawings and Video Guidance: Supporting Smooth On-Site Installation
To help the client complete the on-site installation smoothly, we provided installation drawings and video guidance for the project.
The drawings clearly showed the installation position, fixing method, connection details, and installation order of the sculptures. The videos further helped the on-site team understand the actual installation steps.
With this remote installation support, the client could install the sculptures more efficiently and make sure the final installation effect matched the project design plan.

7. Water Environment Performance: Suitable for Outdoor Water Landscape Spaces
Because some sculptures needed to be used in water areas, the project had higher requirements for corrosion resistance, surface treatment, and structural stability.
We paid special attention to material selection, welding treatment, and surface craftsmanship, so the sculptures could adapt to outdoor wet environments and maintain good visual effect and long-term stability in water landscape spaces. The mirror-polished stainless steel surface reflects the water, creating a more modern artistic landscape for the park.

From Artwork to Spatial Experience
When a sculpture enters a public space, it is no longer just an individual artwork. It becomes part of a new spatial experience together with the environment, light, people, and the memory of the city. This 50th anniversary project for a park in Moscow is a good example of how modern sculpture can be integrated with public landscape.
As an online curated sculpture gallery for indoor and outdoor spaces, we continue to provide modern sculpture selection, custom creation, and project support for parks, hotels, villas, commercial spaces, and public art projects.
