Project 1: American Artist Collaboration Project
Project Name: American Bronze Soldier and Civilian Memorial Sculpture
Project Location: United States
Project Description: In 2025, YouFine factory collaborated with American artist Lena Hart to create this sculpture, inspired by the core theme of “the gentle normalcy of post-war life.” Lena’s grandfather was a World War II veteran who often sat on a park bench in his later years, chatting with passersby. This scene became the design prototype – a young soldier in an old military uniform bending down and extending his hands, as if intently listening to the old man’s teachings. The subtle detail of the old man’s trembling fingertips captures the “reconciliation between those who returned from the battlefield and ordinary life.”
During the collaboration, we created sketches based on the artist’s inspiration and colored the figures according to her requirements. After the artist approved the design, colors, and dimensions, our factory’s artists handcrafted the sculpture. Upon completion, the artist remarked that the image in her mind had come to life.

Project 2: British Artist Collaboration Project
Project Name: British Bronze Chimney Sweep Children Sculpture
Project Location: United Kingdom
Project Description: In 2024, YouFine collaborated with British artist Eva Coates. The project was inspired by the history of child chimney sweeps during the Industrial Revolution in Birmingham. Eva discovered in local archives that 19th-century child laborers often relieved their fatigue by “competing to see who could finish sweeping chimneys first.” The dynamic poses of the two children in the sculpture (one climbing, one sweeping) are a representation of this “childlike spirit that persisted amidst hardship.”
YouFine’s designers created sketches based on the artist’s ideas, depicting a vivid scene of two children sweeping chimneys. After several revisions, the artist finally approved the design. Our factory’s artists then proceeded with the creation of the clay model and the final sculpture.

Project 3: French Artist Collaboration Project
Project Name: Bronze Sculpture of a Farmer and a Dog
Project Location: France
Project Description: This is a collaborative project from 2024 with French sculptor Pierre Lemaire, inspired by Pierre’s childhood memories of his grandfather (a farmer) and his sheepdog: the old man’s gesture of waving with a pitchfork is the iconic way his grandfather greeted him every day after school, and the dog’s sitting posture replicates that of the sheepdog that always stayed by his grandfather’s feet.
Notably, the design drawings for the sculpture were created by the artist himself, with only minor modifications to the pose, changing the old man’s lowered hand to a raised, waving hand. During the casting process, we communicated extensively with the artist to ensure his satisfaction with key aspects such as the clay model, the details of the sculpture, and the coloring. Ultimately, when the sculpture was unveiled in the town, the residents called it the “guardian of the farm.”

Project 4: Italian Artist Collaboration Project
Project Name: Italian Bronze Sculpture of an Elderly Couple Sitting on a Bench
Project Location: Italian Square
Project Description: This project, a collaboration with Italian artist Marco Rizzo in 2023, was inspired by the daily life of Marco’s grandparents: in their later years, his grandparents often sat on a bench in Tuscany, with his grandmother gently stroking his grandfather’s hand, and his grandfather’s cane always resting between them. The “head and shoulders together” posture in the sculpture is a reflection of their daily life.
The artist captured this beautiful moment in a painting, and based on the artist’s inspiration, we quickly finalized the design and dimensions. Following this, we confirmed the color of the sculpture. Considering the artist’s preference for a historical feel, we applied a slight aging treatment to the surface of the sculpture, giving it a more refined and elegant appearance. Upon its exhibition in the square, the sculpture attracted much attention from passersby, who took photos and called it the most tender corner of the area.
