Sculpture Introduction:
This striking and exquisite bronze wall-mounted sculpture is a reproduction of Il Segreto (The Secret), created in 2007 by the renowned Italian sculptor Matteo Pugliese.
A male face appears to emerge from the wall; with half-closed eyes and a serene, introspective expression, a finger rests gently against the lips—a universal gesture for “silence.”
Il Segreto offers a powerful visual impact and also profound symbolic meaning. The “hush” gesture—a finger lightly touching the lips—has long symbolized discretion, intimacy, and the weight of unspoken emotions.
Sculpture Reproduction Showcase:
Each replica is meticulously cast by our specialized bronze sculpture artists using the traditional lost-wax casting method. Every step—from the initial clay model to polishing and patination—is executed with methodical care and precision.
Beyond faithfully recreating the sculpture’s appearance and the figure’s spirit, our artists could also customize the finish and color to meet your specific preferences and diverse needs.
More Styles Available:
This piece is part of Pugliese’s “Extra Moenia” series, which has been exhibited in major international cities such as Milan, London, and New York, cementing his status as one of the most distinctive artists in contemporary figurative bronze sculpture.
