Replicas or similar bull sculptures have also been used in American cities such as Chicago, adorning public spaces as symbols of strength and vitality.

The original stands approximately 3.4 meters tall and weighs approximately 3,200 kilograms. Its dynamic form, with four hooves planted, head lowered, horns raised, nostrils flared, and tail held high, exudes a sense of power, poised for action, symbolizing market vitality and forward momentum.

After the 1987 stock market crash, Arturo Di Modica spent approximately $360,000 of his own money to create this sculpture, gifting it to the people of New York City. It symbolizes the spirit of “striving for strength amidst economic crisis,” as well as the bull market, economic optimism, and the restoration of confidence.

In December 1989, it was secretly placed in front of the New York Stock Exchange. Although removed by police, it was relocated due to public support and has become a New York landmark.
